Alhamdulillah, we chose to go woth Amaana tours, and Alhamdulillah was very happy with the service provided! i found they were always there to help and the religious guides, Alhm were overall really helpful! the food provided in mina, Alhm was very tasty!! and such HUGE portions!Alhm breakfast was always provided...the food nothing to complain about..all praises to Allah!
Alhm the tour i would say was reliable in the sense of getting you to places, in the right times etc, and the thing that has stuck with me about amaana tours, was MashAllah the quality of service they gave to the customers, for example, this sister lost her bagage, and as far as i know, it wasnt the fault of the tour, however, the brothers took her husband out shopping, and bought this sister clothing, jilbaabs etc, Alhm!
also, the tour, Alhm through out, referd strictly to the quran&sunnah, so iA would defo recomend!!
Alhm we all had a wkd exprnce, and all got along together very well...Alhm a VERY strong bond of sisterhood and brotherhood.....iA would DEFOO go with Amaana in the future!!!
A Fantastic Experience Assalamu'alikum
I took my mum with me, who is elderly. We had a grat time. Not everything goes to plan in Haj. But its important to be around good people who remind you of trials and reward of patience and good character. I will inshallah be going with Amaaha again.
Hajj in 2004/2005 with Amaanah - excellent I went for Hajj with these brothers in Dec 2004/Jan 2005. It was my first Hajj.
Mashallah the service they provided was excellent. They made extra effort at all points. We did not have any problems with accomodation/flights. Food was provided in Mina.
I was so pleased with this group that I recommended them to my father-in-law, who went twice with them, once by himself and once with his family.
Pricing was also highly competitive (it cost me <£2000; which would be an unachievable price now).
When the flooding occured on the 12th Dhul-Hijjah and I was unable tyo go to the Jamaraat for the stoning (the underpass leading into the Jamaraat was flooded) the brothers took me along with them in a taxi to reach the jamaraat.
I cannot recommend these brother enough.
I just went for Umrah with them a couple of weeks ago, and there was a minor problem with the accomodation which they sorted with no fuss.
I would highly recommend these brothers, and if/when I go out again, I would certainly wish to go with them.
recommend to anyone who want to go to hajj even if they are with their children, brothers are very helpfull
they try their best to make ur journey confortable so u could concentrate ur ibaadah but ur have kaap everything in ur mind becoz allah test people in different ways
Recomended agent for Hajj This was a very well organised hajj group.
I went for Hajj in 2008 with Amaana Tours, I also only returned a few days ago 15.11.2008. Masha-Allah I have only praise for this group by the will of Allah, they delivered all that they promised and kept us aware of the problems with delays as they occurred and supplied plenty of liquid refreshment in Arafah, Mina and Muzdallifah, beyond what they needed to provide as part of the package.
I travelled with my 3 and a half year daughter and her mother and found the admin team supportive and helpful in all aspects of my wishes to perform the Hajj rights as a whole family with my Daughter.
The Hotel in Makah was wonderful and to me felt closer to the Haram than what the brothers had stated it was going to be in the Seminar before we left for Hajj.
The Hotel in Medina was a step down as advised in the seminar but still comfortable and what it lacked in comfort compared to the Hotel in Makah it made up for with the location it was in. It was over looking the Masjid in Medina and was so close.
Brother Navid (tour Guide) was especially helpful on the first time we ventured out as a family with the group to the Jumarat and helped me shield my daughter’s pushchair as we entered in to the tunnels for the Jumarat.
This was the first real frightening time of the journey for me and my wife up to this point we had not encountered any difficulties with my daughter but the brother did not curse me for bringing my child and by the will of Allah he helped me by guiding and helping me till we meet with the whole group at the 1st point of the stoning of the Jumarat. (May Allah grant him more patience and courage.)
My daughter fell ill and I found the Tour group medical advisor Brother Rizwan on hand to provide reassurance on her state of health and he was on hand through out making sure she was o.k.
I thank Allah that I was invited to Hajj 2008 and I was pared with an organisation such as Amaana Tours, that delivered everything it had said and more and I feel our group was blessed with additional brothers that had joined the group to perform Hajj themselves and provide support as tour guides so our journey for Hajj went as smooth and as comfortable as possible.
Once again I recommend this group to any brother wishing to perform Hajj in the future as they are well organised allowing you to concentrate on your Hajj and like me if you have no option and need to take your child with you they will do there best to make it as safe and comfortable as possible.
Excellent hajj group, couldnt recommend anymore I went for Hajj in 2008 with Amaana Tours, only returned a few days ago. MashaAllah I only have good and nothing bad to say about this group. From the very first day they have been very honest about how things will be, from the accomodation, to the meals to the transfers. You have to remember that you are on Hajj, even if you are in a 5 * star hotel and your coaches are air conditioned, you will be tested. Hajj is not meant to be an easy ride. They tried their best in everything that was in their control, but if the Saudi's were taking ages with giving the passports, or anything else like that, thats not their fault.
The tour guides are excellent in character, very helpful and patient with the group. We were blessed with excellent religous guides who gave reminders every day and throughout the whole of the hajj we were reminded about why we were here, the hajj rites and numerous question and answer sessions. Food in Mina was of a high standard and filling and they were always trying their best to accomodate, from chilled juices always available to even giving chilli sauce for people who may have found the food bland.
Madinah hotels are generally known to be of a lower standard, even their Hilton is far from a 4* so we had been prepared for the standard of the Madinah hotel. But you are there for ibaadah and there is only so much time you spend in the hotel.
Overall I would recommend this group over and over again to anyone. We all had an excellent experience with them mashaAllah.
Masha Allah best Hajj Having been to Hajj more then 5 times (by the grace of Allah) with several companies masha Allah I have travelled for the past couple of times with Amaana Tours and have found there package excellent. Masha Allah the organisers really try with sincerity to be as honest with you about the package and then work relentlessly to ensure you (the pilgrim) have an easy Hajj as possible. Their tourguides are excellent in character and their religious guides and programme helps to ensure you have an spiritualy nourished Hajj that is inaccordance to the Sunnah. Overall there is very very little wrong with this group and their package. I plan on going with them again this year insha Allah.
excellent group made up of commited and polite staff- definately would travel again withj them, you can never expect a 5* holiday when going on hajj- so im disappointed to see some 1* ratings- completely unfair
Do not underestimate the complexity of the organisation of Hajj. I went for Hajj for the first time in my life and have no complaints regarding the services provided by Amaana Tours. Instead I would honestly recommend them to anyone who is looking to take this journey of a life time without reservation. The guys at Amana Tours managed everyone's expectation very well. Only promised to deliver what they knew they could 100%. Any service which they were not sure they could deliver due to the situations out of their control, they would ensure they were honest and transparent. I found this integrity very valuable and made the service they provided genuine.
During the period of Hajj, everything in Makkah and Madina is very hectic. In a country where organisation is improving every year, one must remember it's not like going on a normal holiday. Comparing 4* hotel accommodation with the same rating in the western more developed world is not comparing like with like. The 4* in Madina or Makkah is relatively very comfortable and luxurious. Therefore, complaining about accommodation out of context cannot be justified as being correct.
Lots of events take place where there is no control. For me the most important key focus is how does the service provider deal in situations when problems occur. Amaana Tours did a great job when faced with issues and problems in resolving them. They sincerely tried their best and managed all expectations. It's a fact of life that not every human being can be pleased/satisfied and you will always find some that will view their experience as a very bad one - But put in context, I believe Amaana Tours operate on a 'Say it as it is' policy which is not received by all in the same positive manner. If a problem is masked, then it's just a matter of time before trust is destroyed.
All in all, I would recommend Amaana Tours to anyone going for Hajj and advise everyone to remember the hardship involved when working with the officials in Saudi during this very busy period.
A journey of a life time Alhumdulilah I was blessed by Allah to go hajj a few years ago with this company. It was a good experiance. The brothers try very hard. There were a few delays but they did warn us before and that is not in there control.
The hotel in Mecca is about 6-7 min walk at a normal pace and the hotel has a bus service.
In medina its 30 seconds but the standards are not as good as mecc as they tell you.
the ziyaarah was good but short.
Overall if you are looking to do your hajj accordig to the quran and sunnah I think Amaana ours are a safe option insha allah.
last point they had shaikh Saalim Al amry come to give a lecture in Mina That was Amazing!!
I used these guys when i took my mother, wife and 2 kids... well, as in my title - i travelled with amana tours for haj with my mother, my wife and my 2 under 5 year olds. i did not know what to expect from haj, but they arranged a seminar in london before we travelled where we met the pilgrims and bought out hajj goodies!
the tour group were great - masha allah.
in mina, we were not even supposed to get food and they would give us free pizza hut every day (my daughters loved that!). the transfers were difficult, but i think thats with all companies - but the staff were with us all the way. i think the best bit was the openess of the staff, there were no little secrets - if something happened that was out of the plan, they would lwt us know. this was most important as there is nothing worse than being left in the dark while at haj.
anyway, i could go on for ages - but for me, this is an honest and trustworthy group that really proved themselves on the tour.
I ask that Allah puts barakah and sincerity in all of our words and that he increases these lads in goodness.
I never used them BUT!!! Isn't it interesting that after the Brother wrote a very harsh review about Amaana Tours you find 2 other reviews which say it was 5 *, sounds a bit dodgy to me!
they gave me what they promised! alhumdulilah all I can say is one thing they delivered what they promised which is the most important factor. Abu Talha was very good
May Allah reward you brothers
AWFUL This company was just after the money, plain and simple. They lied THROUGHOUT the whole trip about everything. They claimed the hotel in Medina was 4*, when in fact it was actually more like 1*.
They claimed the hotel in Makkah was 5 minutes walk when in fact it was 15 minutes for a young, fit and healthy person (it would be much further for an older and physically challenged person).
They lied about the services they would provide in Mina, Arafah and Muzdalifah. They provided NO FOOD or drinks until the whole group complained - and even then, we got one meal a day -cold pizzas from Pizza Hut EVERY DAY. The elders couldn't eat this as the pizza was too hard for them - and not very tasty.
Even though there were tea-making facilities and a kitchen at Mina, Amaana Tours couldn't even arrange a chef to make any food for us. All the other groups had arranged this.
There were not enough coaches booked for us to travel, which meant people had to stand in coaches without AC for up to 4 hours at a time.
This group was awful. Do NOT book with them. They only want your money and offer terrible value for money.
I have heard that Afta tours and Al-Hidiya were really good. Their group members had nothing but praise for them.
