Easy Hajj with great Benefits
Abu Muaaz made the Hajj very easy. He explained all the different rituals, the tours are not to be missed, he took us to the battle of Uhud site, showed where the "khandaq" was. In Mecca we saw the mountain of Light with Hira cave, Jabal Noor, historical grave sites, and the different mosques. The hotel in Mecca was a 9 minute walk to the haram. Abu Muaaz knows a lot of local people and moved us quickly thru government processing. He knew everyone of us by name, and made sure we didn't get lost. I would definitley go with him again. His cell phone is always open and available to receive calls from us.

Dreams alive
My dream was true
For many years we waited for Allah to call us and He put us in the right group. People say so many bad things about Hajj being difficult and we were scared to go, but all were not true. Abu Muaaz made it look easy and we were treated well. We had 4 star hotel and plenty of lavish food. We had all kinds of excellent service, and he was there for us every time. The Greatest of my Hajj
The best of my Hajj
We have been several times but this one was the best in our opinion, The hotels were nearby, the food was excellent,the atmosphere was friendly. We had the greatest of food at the Hilton, and also in Medina. We were in a very organized group led by abu muaaz. His professionalism, his leadership and style is exceptional. We had upgraded services in Mina and Arafat, and we never suffered for food. Fresh water and juices and soft drinks were in abundance. We had bottled water stocked up in our refrigerator.If we go again insha Allah it will be abu muaaz. He has great talent and excellent leadership. He is the best Hajj operatorthat I know of. Great Hajj Experience
Asalamu alakum, From the time we landed in Jeddah Abu Muaaz was there to help us through the process. A few of the complaints are of the Hotels in Mecca. Br Muaaz can upgrade you, you just have to pay more. Mecca is very expensive during Hajj and Umrah during Ramadan. Having the 3 star hotels saves you a lot of money.l I got back and heard horror stories from people who went with other groups. People not making it to Muzalaifah, people with no tents in Mina... These things happen... its Hajj, there will be difficulties, but I think that Abu Muaaz and his group did a great job with all the accomadations and getting us to places we needed to be. I also just recently went with Abu Muaz for Umrah during the first 10 days of Ramadan in 2008 without a group. My trip started from Jordan where we stayed a week and traveled around and then the first week of Ramadan in Mecca and Medina. Right from the start everything was taken care of. I did not have to worry about anything except tips. Everything was planned out perfectly. |

This the third time I go with Abu Muaaz. The people were very happy. I dont know who is saying about abu muaaz "NO way" This must be people of wicked minds. This is the most trustworthy group I have witnessed. Abu muaaz made everything easy for us. He gave us comfort and educate us on Hajj. We Love this Hajj
The most wonderful time of my life. We will always go with abu muaaz. He is very friendly and always fulfil his commitments and promise. If he cannot do something for you he will tell you upfront, but he will still try his utmost best to help. They were not giving permission to go to Jeddah and abu muaaz said it is difficult but he will try. You know what we get to go and see our relatives. Also he refunded us $150 for something he overcharged us.We did not know abou this until he came and told us. He is very honest and sincere. Hajj is for Young people
We were so amazed at the multitude of people. Many old people were making Hajj and we really do not know how they made out. We were young and we have young parents with us and we find it hard to go through the crowd. That is why people should make Hajj when they are young. Anyway abu muaaz took care of all the old people. He provided wheel chair free of charge and waited for them when they are late vto board the bus. He ha s a lot of patience. We will always go with him from now on |

Best Umrah Experience
Me and my husband went with Abu Muaz for Umrah after our wedding. It was a short trip (only 4 days). As promised,Abu Muaz picked us up from the airport, took us to Medina, than Mecca and than back to Jeddah. We were provided with hotels 2-3 minutes walking distance from the Haram. The food was awesome at both places, accomodation was great. Abu Muaz even took us for a mini trip to see all the historical sites in Median and this wasnt even part of the package. Me and my family went for Hajj in 2007 with Abu Muaz Hajj and Umrah travel. Abu Muaz and his team worked tirelessy to make things easy for everyone. The hotels in both Makkah and Madina were walking distance (literally 1 minute walk) to Haram. The food was amazing at both places. Abu Muaz was always there to guide us for every thing. Alhumdulillah we completed the Hajj accroding to the Sunnah., through Abu Muaz's guidance. I remember when I went to Abu Muaz's Hajj seminar prior to leaving for Hajj, he asked everyone that "Just listen to what I say, and I'll make sure this is your best experience", and that's what we got. We had the best experience. I would strongly recommend Abu Muaz. I am planning to go this year for Hajj inshAllah as well (2010) with Abu Muaz because I know he will treat me as family and will make sure I have the best experience possible inshAllah. A great Experience

My best Choice
It was diificult to choose a Hajj company at first and I did my reserach, and I asked many of my friends and from about 16 friends and relatives, more than 10 of them recommend Abu Muaaz. Their main point is that he delivers what he promises and even give extras.
We went, myself and wife and 3 children. We observed and did not say a word to Abu muaaz. He was very quick to realise that we are ONE family with children. He bought special meals for my kids who prefer western sryle. He was fair to all his Hajjis, yet he was so much concerned about my children, and made sure that they were always OK.
He gave fruits and juices to my children and teach them some Hadith and Quranic verses. I never regretted I went with abu muaaz, and we strongly recommend him |

Umrah and Amman
We just returned after performing Um rah and tour of religious sites in Amman, we were extremely pleased with Abu Mua'aaz. The lodging and food were excellent . Abu Mau'aaz personally accompanied us, and treated us just like as if we were his own family member. He is very particular about time, but that is good, since if in any group one member slacken it effects the entire group. He is very dedicated, he seems to know all relevant personal in Medinah, Makkah, as well as in Amman. I would highly recommend him. |

The best of my Hajj
My wife and I went on Hajj with Abu Muaaz group. Over all it was an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend Abu Muaaz. Following are few highlights of our experience and some recommendations for improvement: - ( THE BIGGEST PLUS): AlHamdolillah, We completed the Hajj according to the Sunnah of Prophet (PBUH). We were in Mina on 8th Zul Hajj before Zuhr prayers, in Arafat at 11:30 AM and in Muzdalifa at around 7:30 PM. This happened because of excellent planning by the the group leader. We did not spend more than two hours in any commute during the Hajj at any time, unlike most of the people of other groups I have talked to who spent upto 10 hours in the buses. - We were processed through Jeddah terminal on arrival in about 3 hours, which I have heard could take upto 6-8 hours. - Hotel in Mecca was just 10 minutes walk from Masjid Al Haram, another BIG ADVANTAGE. - Mina tents facilities were excellent. We were given comfortable sofa cum beds and blankets. Abu Muaaz also provided us a small mattress and made sure we carried it along with us to Muzdalifa, which really proved useful for the night. Food in Mina was good, nothing fancy but simple and clean and thats all you really need. - Medina hotel was a very nice 4 star hotel and food was great. Areas that can be improved: - We stayed in Aqeeq an Najd hotel listed as 3 * Over all the hotel was clean and comfortable but quite small, so if Abu Muaaz can give a better description of it to set the expectations correctly from the beginning, it would be better. Also if it could be changed to another more spacious hotel with a same distance from Haram, even better. but this may cost a little bit more. A bit more comfortable buses would really help, especially old people since the buses we travelled in were old and a bit uncomfortable. I hope the Saudi Govt will provide better buses next time. But overall Abu Muaaz is the best. |

But Abu Muaaz provided all that he promised. The food was excellent and plentiful.We had bottled ice-cold water and juices. In Mina we had meals and comfortable beds with pillows and blanket. In mecca we had variety of meals and also Medina. The hotels were close by the Haram Shareef and very comfortable. We had the luxurious 4 star Safir Hotel in Medina with the best of buffet style meals. In Mecca we were served with buffet style food and plentyful. My previous Hajj was not like this. Abu Muazz should say that you might have to walk from Muzadaliffah to Mina by yourself and then he should explain the distance from Mina camp to Jamaraat. And he should tell people that they had to walk from Jamaraat to Makkah. The Aqeeq Najd Hotel is not a 3 star hotel as he says it is. Madinah hotel was a three star hotel and it was very good. |

Ramadhan Umrah 2009 I went with Abu Muaaz. The Umrah experience was outstanding. I would rate the company as well Organized. Abu Muaaz himself accompanied us and was very helpful. He is sort of our Imam and big brother, who treats you like part of the family. You can expect a kind reminder and some indirect comments designed to help you not to forget again. But no doubt very helpful. When we arrived back home in New York our baggage came out first. Abu Muaaz was very helpful. He went and made sure all baggages were loaded on the plane, and we received them. He offers economy hotels with executive treatment, and hotels are very close to the Haram. Hotels are clean and decent and the package price is affordable. We went with Abu Maaz on Umrah and did Hajj the same year. The last time we did Hajj was in 2003 with another group. Abu Muaaz Group is totally different. What he offers you is what you get. He fulfils his promises. He will remind you to check out all the paper work he sends you to make sure you understand eveything. Everything is spelt out clearly. He is honest and sincere, and very reliable.We will go again with him insha Allah. We strongly recommend him to anyone who wants his services.

Abu muaaz accommodation in Mecca was not the very best but comfortable and near to Haram Shareef. In Medina it was superb. But then you get what you paid for. He told us that if we want 5 star hotel through out our stay then the price would go up. In general his services are above average.
We rae extremely satisfied with everything especially the extra services he gave us for free, including extra meals and bottled water.

A satisfying Hajj
Alhamdullillah Allah blessed us with the honor of visiting His house in Makkah. Moreso, He blessed and guided us to choose Brother Abu Muaaz group to go with. Abu Muaaz was extermely helpful and ALWAYS there if you needed assistance with anything. We were provided with delicious breakfast and lunch daily. Dinner was also given on some days. The kitchen was open 24hrs if you needed anything hot/cold to drink. The accomodations in both Makkah and Madinah were excellent. Most improtantly, were the days of Hajj, our accomodation in Mina were too good for me. Additionally, we arrived at Arafat before 10:00am and got to Muzdalifa about an hour after magrib. Which if find out from anyone who was there before is unheard of. They took many many hours. Lastly, Abu Muazz and his many local guides are were available any time we needed them. He may not have the best of all facilities but everything was comfortable.We were treated well and our hotels were available to us during the entire length of our stay, especially in Makkah. Great Hajj
This is my 3rd Hajj and 2nd with Abu Muaaz. It is quite different from my first experience. This is well organized and well planned. we had upgrades in accommodation without extra charges. We had more varieties of food. The Scholars were very knowledgeable and instructed us in the rites of Hajj. This is my 3rd Hajj and 2nd with Abu Muaaz. It is quite different from my first experience. This is well organized and well planned. we had upgrades in accommodation without extra charges. We had more varieties of food. The Scholars were very knowledgeable and instructed us in the rites of Hajj. Our hotels were close to Haram and excellent with buffet style food in Medina We had best of services. I recommend this group abu muaaz for excellence

I went with Abu Muaaz on Umrah 2008. The Umrah experience was outstanding. I would rate the company as well Organized. Abu Muaaz himself accompanied us and was very helpful. He is sort of grandfather and big brother, who treats you like part of family. You can expect a lecture and some indirect comments designed to help you not to forget again. But no doubt very helpful. When we arrived back home, our luggage cameout first. Abu Muaaz was very helpful. He went and made sure all baggages were loaded on the plane, and we received them. He offers economy hotels with executive treatment, and hotels are close to the Haram. Hotels are clean and the package price is affordable. We went with Abu Maaz on Umrah and on Hajj the same year. What he offers you is what you get. He will remind you to check out all the paper work he sends you. Everything is spelt out clearly. he is honest and sincere, and very reliable. |

We never realised Hajj was so difficult when we hear from other Hajjis about their problems. WE had no bad experience. We were surprised how other hajjis suffer greatly with other groups. We were given comfortable sofa beds, pillows and blankets. Abu Muaaz also provided us a small mattress and made sure we carried it along with us to Muzdalifa, which really proved useful for the night. Food in Mina was good and plentiful, nothing fancy but simple and clean and thats all you really need. - Medina hotel was a very nice 4 star hotel and food was great. Umrah in Ramadan
This was my 3rd Umrah but the first in Ramadan and Abu Muaaz maei it possible for me and my family. We had personal problems with ur passports and Abu muaaz got new one for me in one day, and airline reservation when the plane was already overbooked. We had private room with family for our Umrah and was very close to haram Shareef.
We had a wonderful Umrah and we enjoyed all the days in Mecca with tasty meals and good services. May Allah bless abu muaaz

The Glory of Allah
This is fantastic. we could not believe our eyes seeing the Jamaraat area. The last time it was one level and now 3 levels, and they will go for 5 levels insha Allah. Hajj is getting much easier with abu muaaz. The hotels are near the Haram and the food is excellent.
We will nevr forget the inspiring talk of Shaikh Mahmoud Shalash. Everyday in Mina he would lecture to us and motivate us. He would explain the Hajj rituals and Abu Muaaz would give us general advice and arrange all the other things for us.

We went with brother Shaikh abu muaaz several times before. Last year was the best for all our Hajj and the trip was great, and we will go again insha Allah. He had more than 4 hajj packages availble with 3 choices of hotel and 4 Hajj prices, so we cannot complain if we pick up a 3 star hotel because that was our choice; and for us the bottom line is if you have a decent place to slee, then that is great as long as you do the hajj in the right way. And alhamdullah Abu Muaaz guided us very well. We had a great and wonderful time.In Madina we had pleasant stay with great luxurios hotel and a fantastic memorable time. In Mecca we were very close to Haram Shareef and very happy.In Mina and Arafat and Muzdalifah we will never forget the first class treatment we had when others were suffering. We will never forget this Hajj
We will never forget this Hajj insha Allah, our best experience. We had suffered before but not this time. We went with Abu Muaaz after a good friend recommend tghis Group.Everything was wonderful and more comfortable than previous ones. We had comfortable cozy hotels in Mecca nearto Haram with delicious meals, buffet style. Our transportation was comfortable and we did not have to wait for long. In Medina, we stayed at the luxurious 4 * Safir Saha Hotel with lavish buffet style meals. Both hotels in Mecca and Medina were only a few mins walk away from Haram Shareef.
In Mina, we were treated in style with upgraded tents and meals. We were very comfortable compared to other tents. Every day Imam Mahmoud Shalash would give us lectures on Hajj and other religious topics. Sometimes Shaikh Abu Muaaz would lecture in various topics.
We strongly recommend Abu Muaaz for an easy and comfortable Hajj.

Very Tough Hajj
Assalaamualikum, I heard about the difficulty of Hajj, but this is beyond any one control. The place was hot. Arafat has no AC. The toilets are not convenient. But Abu Muaaz provided all thet he promised. The food was excellent and plentiful.We had bottled ice-cold water and juices. In Mina we had meals and comfortable beds with pillows and blanket. In mecca we had variety of meals and also Medina. The hotels were close by the Haram Shareef and very comfortable. We had the luxurious 4 star Safir Hotel in Medina with the best of buffet style meals.In mecca we were served with buffet style food and plentyful. My previous Hajj was not like this. Abu Muaaz made this easy for us. I recommend this group always. The murshid was very knowledgeable and explained the Hajj to us in Mina and arafat. We had no problems. |

Review of Hajj service not the hajj
People are correct when they say that Hajj is not a holiday and people should not consider it as such and people are correct to say that as a hajji you have to put up with hardship and discomfort for Hajj is difficult and physically demanding and things don’t always go to plan. However, this should not be seen as a license for Hajj tour operators (HTOs) to take advantage of the situation in order to maximise their profits. Let’s face it most HTOs are in it to earn money and to make a profit, they are businesses not charities. This is a lucrative business.
There are two issues here and don’t be fooled by a HTO trying to blur them. Firstly there is the Hajj itself and secondly there is the service you purchase to get you there, the two are not the same, you do not buy a Hajj and the HTO does not sell you a Hajj. The HTO wants you to believe that it is one and the same so they can shirk their duties and obligations towards you under the “Hajj is difficult/these things happen in Hajj” catch all phrase. Don’t be fooled. If they run a business then they should be responsible for the service they provide or fail to provide. Under US law they are no different to a holiday package tour operator, the service expectation is the same.We spoke to a representative of the Foreign Office who was in Makkah about our predicament and he told us that every year they get 100s of complaints from Hajjis in Saudi but when they return to the US hardly anyone pursues the matter further and this makes matters worse for future Hajjis because nothing gets done and standards don’t improve.

RATHER THAN RE-type - read this its the same for me - For the Hajj trip in Makkah we stayed in Aqeeq an Najd hotel. As the brother truthfully listed below it was "listed as 3 *" hotel in his flyer and website. This raised the expectations of everyone in the group including myself and my family. To be quite honest, it is not a 3 star hotel, not even a 1 star. I feel cheated and lied to because Abu Muaaz must and should have given a better description of it to set the expectations correctly from the beginning Also if it could be changed to another more spacious hotel with a same distance from Haram, even better. Other groups charged similarly and got 4star hotels! A bit more comfortable buses would really help, especially old people since the buses we travelled in were old and a bit uncomfortable. He needs to have leaders for the group and not just himself or else there is no point in continuing in leading groups. In the past this may have worked but it is no longer applicable to today. |

From the time we landed in Jeddah Abu Muaaz was there to help us through the process. I most of the complaints are of the Hotels in Mecca. Br Muaaz can upgrade you, you just have to pay more. Mecca is very expensive during Hajj and Umrah during Ramadan. Having the 3 star hotels saves you ALOT of money. I didn't realize how really great my Hajj experience was until I got back and heard horror stories from people who went with other groups. People not making it to Muzalaifah, people with no tents in Mina... These things happen... its Hajj, there will be difficulties, but I think that Abu Muaaz and his group did a great job with all the accomadations and getting us to places we needed to be.
I also just recently went with Abu Muaz for Umrah during the first 10 days of Ramadan in 2008 without a group. My trip started from Jordan where we stayed a week and traveled around and then the first week of Ramadan in Mecca and Medina. Right from the start everything was taken care of. I did not have to worry about anything except tips. Everything was planned out perfectly. |

No one should make wild comments and try to degrade others with lies and ignorance. The other one accused Abu Muaaz of providing less than one start hotel. I checked myself with the Ministry of Commerce. Aqeeq Najd is listed officially as a 3 *** hotel category A. So who is the lier? and who is the misinformer? They tell lies and speak for themselves. They do not speak for all the good clients and hajjis of Abu Muaaz. These people should write abu muaaz an apology and ask for forgiveness. They should identify themselves and not hide under their false claims. Abu muaaz is not the best and never claimed to be the best. But what I know, he always provide the best of services for the money paid, and always fulfill his promises. He always give more than promised. We will always go with abu muaaz. He also knows the rules of Hajj and very educated in Islam. I am personally commited to fairness and these few Hajjis are indeed one sided. They never talked about the beautiful 5***** star hotel in Medina with lavish and exciting meals. They never talked about the super VIP upgrade in Mina with soft Sofa beds and blankets and pillows and 24 hrs service of tea free of charge. In Mecca they had and we had tea and coffeee 24 hours every day and decent hot meals. Shame on them |

Most Organised Group
The few negative reviews below are written by people of sick and biased hearts. Their aims are one-sided and one tracked. They just came back from Hajj and then they tell lies. I have been with Abu Muaaz about 8 times now. This is the most well organised group from America. Aqeeq Najd Hotel is listed with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj as 3 *** group "A" This is one of the best hotels in the block. Remember this was a super economy package with reasonable facilities. The people expect 5***** hotels and 5 ***** luxury. They must be crazy. Those packages cost $8,000 to $10,000.
Those people did not mention the luxury 4**** hotel in Medina with lavish expensive food buffet style. We had luxury upgraded accommodation in Mina on Sofa beds when others are on the bare ground. We arrived in Arafat before 11:00 am Other groups arrived after 4:00pm by Asr time. We returned to Muzdalifah after Magrib by 7:30 pm very early. Other groups were arriving after midnight, some by 3:00am. Abu Muaaz did a wonderful job in all his arrangements. Delays of buses are not his fault. With over 2 million Hajjis in a small crowded area, what can one expect. I congratulate Abu Muaaz. He has delivered everything he promised and even more. He is honest and truthful. Since I tried Abu Muaaz in 2002, I have always been with him. I have done several Hajj before that with other groups. This is the best and most reasonable for the wonderful services we received. |

Other groups charged similarly and got 4star hotels! A bit more comfortable buses would really help, especially old people since the buses we travelled in were old and a bit uncomfortable. He needs to have leaders for the group and not just himself or else there is no point in continuing in leading groups. In the past this may have worked but it is no longer applicable to today. |

Review
bad experience overall - these groups and their leaders don't know anything about how to do hajj. They provide very poor service in mecca and madina during umrah, and provided a very cheap hotel to stay in. I think this group should be stopped from operating Hajj services. When I booked my hajj package , the tour operator promised that he will provide good service even more than expected. But when we went there he was completely changed . some people received five star treatment and some didnt - the question left in my mind was Didnt we all pay the same price? so why not the same service? |

Hajj Experience
A couple of things to consider when choosing a group to make your travel arrangements for Hajj : ask alot of details with regards to hotel panning, amenities, mina facilities, food, leadership, hajj preparation, and how exactly is your money being spent.
As-salamwalaikum, Although the experience of Hajj presents many obsticles, this group provided extremely poor communication even prior to leaving the U.S. and during Hajj. Times for travelling from one city to another city were not set. We would end up waiting 2 - 4 hours for just a bus. This was poor logistical planning on behalf of abu muazz. This lack of communication resulted in missed prayers at the al haram mosque bec. we didnt want to miss the bus. The group failed to provided services as described, no representatives were available as U.S. airport or abroad, making it very difficult for non-arabic speaking individuals.
No representative travelled with the group between Jeddah and Makkah, leading to great confusion. The only person who could have spoken arabic properly was Abu muazz and he was barely even around to be quite honest. Travel between Mina, Muzdalifah, and Medinah as expected took many hours. The majority of the facilities were "eastern style", hence no actual toilet. The group did provide meals as stated in Mina and Arafat. At times the group leaders consulidated everyone into 2 buses, requiring the younger males to sit on the floor or their bags, due to long wait times for a third bus to arrive as planned.The above is just a glimse of my experience, which also included spending all night waiting for a room, not providing transportation between Mina and Makkah for tawaf el-efada, resulting in a total of 8 hours of walking not including actually perfoming tawaf.
The tents of Mina are a confusing maze with out a guide. Everything aside, although my experience taught me tolerance please be aware that what is advertised is not what actually occurs. it saddens me that many groups feel that they can take advantage of individuals during a time when tolerance and patience is prescribed. I would not recommend this group to elderly individuals or those with special needs. The lectures and talks provided were very valuable, it is unfortunate that the group leaders are unable to keep promises made. |

Hajj review (bad)
the entire thing is a scam on his part, i would not go to hajj with this man if i were you.
Many people where lost throughout the trip and Abu Muaz acted like he didnt even care. One old man (from the same country as him) got lost and he did not even care to look for him.
I truly believe i was ripped off. Hotels smelled and were dirty to the point of substandard for american hajji.

A wondeful experience
This is my third time with this group. I went in 2007 with my mother and father and my two brothers. Everything was well planned, even more than before. We have seen tremendous positive improvement. Abu muaaz provided upgraded accommodation in Mina with extra meals. We had wondeful time in mEcca & Medina in our 5 star hotels. We stayed at Hilton in Mecca and Alharam in medina. We had religious instructions in the rites of Hajj.The Imam explained everything in detail how to perform Hajj.
I noticed below someone named Ali say bad things. But these are all lies. He made this same comment 2008 / 8 /6. This negative comment should not be allowed to appear two times.This should be removed. This is a wicked man saying bad things and tell many lies. May Allah deal with him as He sees fit. Very Satisfied
My wife and I went on Hajj with Abu Muaaz group. Over all it was an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend Abu Muaaz. Following are few highlights of our experience and some recommendations for improvement:
- ( THE BIGGEST PLUS): AlHamdolillah, We completed the Hajj according to the Sunnah of Prophet (PBUH). We were in Mina on 8th Zul Hajj before Zuhr prayers, in Arafat at 11:30 AM and in Muzdalifa at around 7:30 PM. This happened because of excellent planning by the the group leader. We did not spend more than two hours in any commute during the Hajj at any time, unlike most of the people of other groups I have talked to who spent upto 10 hours in the buses.
- We were processed through Jeddah terminal on arrival in about 3 hours, which I have heard could take upto 6-8 hours.
- Hotel in Mecca was just 10 minutes walk from Masjid Al Haram, another BIG ADVANTAGE.
- Mina tents facilities were excellent. We were given comfortable sofa cum beds and blankets. Abu Muaaz also provided us a small mattress and made sure we carried it along with us to Muzdalifa, which really proved useful for the night. Food in Mina was good, nothing fancy but simple and clean and thats all you really need.
- Medina hotel was a very nice 4 star hotel and food was great.
Areas that can be improved:
- We stayed in Aqeeq an Najd hotel listed as 3 *. This raised the expectations of everyone. It really is not a 3* hotel, not even a 1 *. Over all the hotel was clean and comfortable but quite small, so if Abu Muaaz can give a better description of it to set the expectations correctly from the beginning, it would be better. Also if it could be changed to another more spacious hotel with a same distance from Haram, even better.
- A bit more comfortable buses would really help, especially old people since the buses we travelled in were old and a bit uncomfortable.
- A female scholar for guiding ladies in the group is needed. There was no guide for Ladies, so often they were not aware of the plan for the upcoming event, nor were they educated on religiuos aspects of Hajj.

Alhamdullah a Great Hajj 2008 Group
Alhamdullillah Allaah blessed us with the honor of visiting His house in Makkah. Moreso, He blessed and guided us to choose Brother Abu Muaaz group to go with. Abu Muaaz was extermely helpful and ALWAYS there if you needed assistance with anything. We were provided with delicious breakfast and lunch daily. Dinner was also given on some days. The kitchen was open 24hrs if you needed anything hot/cold to drink. The accomodations in both Makkah and Madinah were excellent. Most improtantly, were the days of Hajj, our accomodation in Mina were too good for me. Additionally, we arrived at Arafat before 10:00am and got to Muzdalifa about an hour after magrib. Which if find out from anyone who was there before is unheard of. Lastly, Abu Muazz and his many local guides are were available any time we needed them. |

Alhamdu Lillah, we had a wonderful hajj experience with this group, almost to the point that it seems unbelievably smooth. I honestly recommend this leader for his expertise and professionalism. I know the previous Haji. I was in the group too. What he said was indeed true. But one thing I must make clear. The flight was delayed for technical reasons and so we missed the JFK flight. But we had a wonderful overnight in Amman free of charges and full meals. WE arrived safely the next day in New York and everybody received their bags and Zam Zam water. Thank you abu muaaz. Ramadhan Umrah 2008
I went with Abu Maaz on Umrah 2008. The Umrah experience, reading the Tarawiah Salat, Qiam Laal and reqular salats was outstanding. I would rate the company the following way:
1) Well Organized - Abu Maaz accompanied us and was very helpful
2) He is sort of like your uncle, who treats you like part of family. So if you miss direction and forget your wallet (like I did) - you can expect a lecture and some indirect comments designed to help you not to forget again.... But no doubt he is very helpful.
3) On our way back we missed our flight because of Jordinan Airline over-booked their flights. When we arrived back home, our luggage came 3 days later. Abu Maaz was very helpful. He went and made sure all baggages were mailed to the right people and he even called us to made sure we have received them.
4) He does not offer expensive hotels or executive treatment, but hotels are close to the haram, clean and the package price is affordable. I only went with Abu Maaz on Umrah not on Hajj. However, I have heard that same is true with Hajj.
5) What he tells you is what you get. He will remind you to "Read" all the paper-work he sents you. Everything is written in there.

2006 was a very difficult year, but all went well with abu muaaz group. He sacrificed his personal time in service of the Hujjaj. The hotels were close by, only 2 mins away. I went for hajj with my mother in '05 and alhamdulillah after talking to many people when I got back home, I realized that this group was amazing. We got things done on time that many people didn't even get the chance to do. In Aug. '08, my wife and I got the opportunity to go for Umrah during Ramadan. I went in 2006 and we stay at Farah hotel near to haram 1 minite walk. We had the best of treatment and plenty of food and drinks. Went wit this group against the advise of others, I went because a friend was going with this group.
Hotels,actually apartments were in Aziziyah miles away from Mecca this was not told to me when I booked but after (NOTE the flyer for the HAjj mentioned that hotels were 2 minutes walk from the haram and nothing about Aziziyah).
We had to travel eeryday to the Haram.
Could not find Abu Muazz when we need him.
On old couple could slept near the Haram overnight because the could not get a taxi back to the apartment in Aziaiyah Abu Muaaz was the least concerned.
Some of these groups are all about Making MONEY a friend of mine went with another group and paid $1700.00 (Seventeen Hundred dollars) less than me and had better accomodations staying near the Haram both in Mecca and Medina.
If you are reading this and plan to go to hajj do your research the group that my friend went with for cheaper takes people from New youk ask around.
Bottom line we were treated like a piece of product to make a profit. |

We suffered in 1994 and again in 2001 it was not that really bad, but in 2005 with this dynamic leader, and scholar we had the best time. He instructed in all Hajj riuals. The best of all my 7 Hajj trips
I went with several companies before, but this was the best. The food, the arrangement, the movement of buses, the comfort and facilities, the extra services we get free and the Saudi contacts Abu muaaz has. He seems to know everybody, and everybody likes him. He speaks Arabic and English fluently and gave us religious instructions. He also has a learned Shaikh, a Murshid who gave us wonderful advices and Islamic talks. He explained the rites of Hajj and all the rules & regulations. We were happy. We even paid less than what previous groups charged us. I recommend Abu Muaaz Hajj to anyone who wants peace of mind. The only problem I noticed is that sometimes the buses are late, but this is not Abu muaaz fault. He would cal them many times and even send his employees to the bus company to hurry up. |

Alhemdu lillah
Abu Muaaz made the Hajj very easy, he explained all the different rituals, the tours are not to be missed, he took us to the battle of uhud site, showed where the "khandaq" was heraa cave, noor mount, grave sites, and the different mosques. The hotel in Mecca was a 4 minute walk from the haram. Abu Muaaz knows a lot of locals and moved us quickly thru govenment processing, he knew everyone of us by name, and made sure we didn't get lost. I would definitley go with him again. |
